This solo exhibition attempts to use painting as the chief investigation medium to critique T. V. programs. Joon kiat is interested to look at how painting can be used to critique these moving images and how such engagements form visual constructions and collective memories of a defining Singapore.
When engaging narrative contents in this painting exhibition, Joon Kiat is interested to devise strategies that uses painting to critique media constructs and investigate state of issues media presents.
